Here are the 6 easy steps for planning & escorting a Group Tour to the

1. Place posters or signs at Church functions and spread the word about plans for a Branson Trip to let interested parties know who to contact if interested.

  • Always have only one place to sign-up, the Church receptionist or activities director only or just one phone number for folks to contact, if possible

2. After an initial sign-up, plan a meeting or get together to discuss which Dates are acceptable for everyone.

  • A group tour takes about 30 to 90 days to setup, the group leader will normally take charge and pick 2 or 3 different dates to start with.
  • The Number of days to spend, depending on the distance from Branson, 3-8 hours, a 4 day & 3 night stay is the norm, add 1 or 2 days if distance is further than 10 hours away we will plan overnight stops with some interesting places to visit along the way and on your return home.
  • We only market motor coaches, we do not arrange air transportation, Sorry! We do coordinate arrivals & departures in your itinerary.
  • Usually tours begin on a Monday and end on a Thursday 4 days, Friday 5 days or Saturday 6 days, you can begin you tour on any day, but Monday through Thursday are sometimes less crowded.
  • Vote for the Shows & Attractions you wish to see
    (Make a copy of the Tour Request Fax to make ballots), and decide which shows & attractions & meals to include. Usually Breakfast & Supper are planned, lunches are not.
  • Dinners Normally are prepaid and reserved to allot for travel time between Shows, and Lunches are on your own while sightseeing Branson

  • On most tours you spend more time on the Bus, at shows & sightseeing than in your room, it's for sleeping
  • All quotes will be priced 4 ways
  • Single room with King or 2 Queens bed for 1 person
  • Double room with two Queen or a King bed for 2 people,
  • Triple room with 2 Queen beds for a husband & wife with a brother or sister along
  • Quad room with 2 Queen beds for 4 people, don't forget
    the ear plugs here.

4. Send out a letter or pass a note to everyone signed up for the trip to announce Agreed upon Tour Dates & Total Cost of Tour per person.

5. Plan a gathering of the tour participants to discuss your Branson Tour Itinerary, payment procedures, and to collect tour deposits.

  • Branson Christian Tours policy is a $50 deposit per person within 30 days of accepting our quote and the balance paid in full 30 days prior to the date of Tour arrival in Branson
  • All moneys can be placed in a escrow account or the Church checking account and paid with 1 check or bank transfer to Mercantile Bank
  • Please Note: Anyone in a group will receive a FULL refund if they cancel 96 hours or 4 days prior to group tour arrival date.
  • Cancellations within the 96 hour window may have to pay for some part of their reservation, we refund money in accordance with the Hotels, Motels, Shows, Attractions, and Restaurants policies, which are all different.

6. Plan another meeting about 35 days before the trip to collect final payments and compile a rooming list. Mail or Fax your rooming list along with your final payment to Branson Christian Tours and we will do the rest.

  • We supply name tags for your group and will give you phone numbers to leave at home for emergencies.
  • Escort will stay in contact with Branson Christian Tours with people counts as they change (this is absolutely necessary to assure full refunds.
